  4.     To register your copy of Magic Camera, send the form below 
  5. along with $25.00 US in the form of a money order, cashiers check, 
  6. or personal check drawn on from a US bank (personal checks will 
  7. be held 2 weeks before shipping).  Overseas orders send an additional
  8. $5.00 for shipping and handling.  DO NOT SEND CASH.  All payments
  9. must be in US dollars.
  10.  
  11.     In return you will recieve a keyfile which will allow you access
  12. to all features of the current version of Magic Camera and those future
  13. versions considered to be free updates (bug fixes and evolutionary 
  14. impovements).  This form of registration creates fewer problems
  15. in distribution, so new versions will be distributed more often.  
  16. This keyile contains your name and address, so this information 
  17. must be correct for the person who will be using Magic Camera.
  18.  
  19.     Also on the diskette will be the latest release of Magic Camera
  20. and as many extras as I can fit.
  21.  
  22.     Currently only one platform is supported, but more may be
  23. included in the future.  If you are interested in other versions,
  24. please let me know.
  25.  
  26.     I'm asking for info on on-line services you use so that I can get
  27. an idea of the best way to distribute future versions.

  40. format, and all distributed registration keyfiles are

  43.     Distribution of any registration keyfile is strictly prohibited.
  44. The registered user is responsible for seeing that his registration 
  45. keyfile is not distributed.  The registered user agrees that, should
  46. his/her registration keyfile be distributed, he/she will be held 
  47. responsible for financial damages incurred by the copyright holder
  48. (usually in the form of lost sales) caused by this disribution.

  50.     This information given during registration must be correct and
  51. true.  Giving incorrect information during registration is considered
  52. mail fraud, which is a Federal offense and incurs penalties in the form
  53. of jail time and/or monetary fines.

  56. is his/her current street address or that his/her current street address
  57. is included somewhere in the registration package.

  121. Tips for registration:
  122.  
  123.     Space permitting, I will include two versions of the current release
  124. of Magic Camera on the disk with the keyfile.  I would recommend that
  125. you get the one that best fits your current set up.  If you are
  126. getting a version which requires a floating-point coprocessor, I
  127. recommend also getting a version which runs without it.  Non-FPU
  128. versions use single precision math for speed, and therefore approximately
  129. twice as many objects can be packed into the same amount of memory when
  130. using a non-FPU version.  In some instances a non-FPU version is faster
  131. than the FPU version.

  133.     I will continue to distribute all four versions of Magic Camera via
  134. BBS & etc., so if you want more than two version, you will still be able 
  135. to get them.

  137.     Registration keyfiles will NOT work across platforms.  However,
  138. when version for other platforms become available, I'll allow registered
  139. users to register for the new platform at a discount.
